How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time using either of the following methods:

1. In-App or Web (Recommended)

Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the Eidolon web app or mobile app. Follow the confirmation prompt to initiate deletion. You will be signed out immediately.

2. Via Email

Send an email to support@geteidolon.app from the email address associated with your account with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

What Happens After Deletion

• Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you are signed out. You will no longer be able to log in.
• 30-day retention period: Your data is retained for 30 days after your deletion request. During this period, you can contact support@geteidolon.app to cancel the deletion and restore your account.
• Permanent erasure: After 30 days, all of your personal data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

What Data is Deleted?

Upon permanent erasure, the following is removed from our systems:

• Your user profile and account information (email, display name)
• All AI companions you created
• All conversation history and messages
• Companion memories, diary entries, dreams, and musings
• Generated and uploaded images
• Device tokens and notification registrations
• API keys (if applicable)

We may retain certain data beyond the 30-day period where required by law, or for legitimate safety purposes (e.g., records of terms violations). For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
